About Julie (aka Cookie)

Hi, my name is Julie. I'm a 57 year old wife, mom and a retired educator. I was a high school art teacher for almost 31 years. I was lovingly given the nickname "cookie" by my students--hence the title of this blog. For a more detailed profile of who I am ---my interests and passions--- please see the "About" page regarding what makes the life of a "Cookie'

    1. truly old–as I suspect the town of Cambridge built up around Harvard since it’s inception in the 17th century and with this building sitting directly across the street from the school’s entrance, I think the row of shops to be quite old—now I would imagine the older doors to have been replaced, with this being the last replacement, which appears to date back to the very late 19th, early 20th century —and not a door likely for a shoe repair shop ๐Ÿ™‚
A charming town named for a similar college town found in your neck or the woods ๐Ÿ™‚
