Hi, My name is Russ, and I am principle photographer here at Russ Dixon Photography. I am based in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Specialising in Documentary, Community Events, Street and Architectural photography. I am also a contributor to Arcangel Images (http://www.arcangel-images.com) where some of my work can be purchased. Inspiration for my work comes from many of the great photographers such as Brassai, Ansel Adams, Bill Brandt, and Robert Doisneau. These influences lead me to create dark, moody and gritty images, usually in monochrome, but I can transfer the same feelings into colour as well.
